All staff were extremely helpful and kind! Very comfortable beds, quiet, but can’t express how nice the staff were! Made the whole experience homely and professional at the same time, we came from London to stay 4 days so thank you for the unforgettable stay!
We had a lovely time in Edinburgh and the Brooks Hotel was great! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast options were plentiful and the food was good. The room (twin) was larger than expected and was very comfortable for me and my sister. The bathroom was spotless, a tad small (probably not for the UK though) and there was plenty of drawer and closet space for our luggage. The location was good and many interest points were accessible by walking. Over all, we really enjoyed our stay here.
An average experience, not bad, not great. Let's start with the negatives:||We were given room 106 and when we entered we saw black mould in the bedroom. We informed reception but unfortunately the hotel was full so we had to stay there …
The hotel is well located and the breakfast is great. The staff were very good at the front desk and the restaurant. ||Our first room we were given had peeling paint in the bathroom, and the TV and internet did not work. We insisted on …
A lovely hotel with very hospitable staff. However, just a few finishing touches needed. Our room 212 was comfortable - i would suggest pictures on the wall and a bedside cabinet on both sides of bed. We had an issue with a broken …
Overall bad experience. I would advise to Avoid.
Rented king-size room, paid 319. GBP for 3 nights.
Good location and that's the only positive thing I can say. Nothing like on the website or booking site. Checked out earlier as we could feel the dust all over us. Its very run down, but the worst is the fact that it is generally dirty. Carpet is full of stains, used tissues behind bed side table, kettle with the broken lid, cups and glasses dirty, very uncomfortable mattress. I had impression that it was massive improvisation. Very unprofessional.
Went here as a couple holiday. Arrived and was told room was not ready so had to wait. We were taken to a room in where the halls smelled of smoke and were given a room in which smoke ashes were all over the bathroom. We demanded another …
This place reminds me of Fawlty Towers. When you arrive you go to reception to be told that the car park is around the corner and you have a choice carry all your possessions from the car park or leave it in reception and then park your …
